Over the years, Taiwan has developed a real bread culture. It is now part of daily life and happy events shared with family or friends. Bakeries, which occupy a key place in Taiwanese life, compete with quality products and original creations. Bakers are close to their customers. 

“The baker is a missionary. He must spread the culture of bread…like the gospel, to fire up people’s imaginations. I feel my profession gives me a social role to play.”
